Electrical Interference.

What is it?
This is interference caused by electric devices, such as motors.
It may be noticed on a TV or radio as a crackling sound, whining or buzz. A TV may show white speckles on the picture.

What can suffer from this?
Any receivers, such as TV or radio systems.

Who's fault is it?
This is NOTHING to do with CBs, it is due to some electrical device such as a drill.

What causes it?
It will be caused by some electrical device, usually with a motor, such as a drill, fan, etc.
Such devices should not interfere with radio or TV, but worn out motors can cause it as the device generates sparks inside the motor.
It can also be caused by the ignition system in a car, but this will be noticed as it changes with the car passing by or the engine revs alter.

What should I do about it?
Try to find out if it is anything in your house that is causing the problem - does it happen when certain things are used, or when some devices switch on automatically?
