Radio and Electronics site.
Back again.
This site.
This site is provided to give information about the technical side of radio and
electronics, with a bias towards hobbyists and Citizens Band Radio users.
It is not intended to give full training in the subjects, but it is hoped that
it will be of use to those interested in the hobbies or studying the subjects.

Site statistics show that, in spite of being stopped some time back, this site still
appears to attract a surprising number of visitors. With the CB site becoming
large, and plans to cover additional subjects, it has been decided to start this
site once more to cover the technical side or radio and electronics.
The site is presently being tested, but you are free to browse the site. If you
do notice any problems, please let the Webmaster know.
New and Exclusive!
Cheap electronics.
Modern consumer electronic products are now so cheap, but this can come at a cost of
incredible amounts of waste.
The Webmaster has been granted access to a storage area full of products which have
come from major High Street retailers, dumped as scrap. Well known brand TVs, DVD
players, microwave cookers, digital cameras, Webcams, external hard drives and much
more... all scrapped by the retailers.

Over the coming weeks, this report will look at the amount of products going for
scrap - not after their useful life, but often before a consumer even gets to use
them. We plan to show why this could be happening, what can be done and how you
can get bargains or make money by riding the beast that is mass production.
